Fashion 1&2 

Fashion 1& 2:

​

The Fashion Design and Merchandising program exposes students to careers and skills needed for employment in the fashion industry. The program focuses on textiles, fashion sketching, the elements and principles of design, basic sewing techniques and construction, trends, forecasting, sustainability, styling and

visual merchandising. In each course students build a portfolio that can be used to interview for schools, employment, and internships. The fashion program will be affiliated with FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) and may be used as a fine art credit.
